Can't Stop What Is Meant For You

My father gave me the best advice when I told him I was considering returning to the radio: "you have been comfortable doing you, but this is a sign from the universe that you are not fulfilling your purpose in this life... echale ganes y hazlo hija"
For the first time in my career, my blessing with Jammin' 105.7 seems more than perfect. It's as if the stars aligned perfectly and I was meant to go back and smile on air. I was at home when I received the official paperwork of the return of my radio show.
I will be honest and admit I was downplaying the magnitude of this news. Why? Because I have been so protective of my energy both physically and mentally. Knowing that I was putting myself back in the media light triggered a bit of anxiety.
I believe that God always places people in my life and they either protect me or teach me with their actions. I walked into the radio station full of emotions (mostly nervous and scared) and as I stepped in I realized I was placed in a building full of people ready to help me succeed.
Seeing how my team believes in me, my family, my colleagues, my friends, it helped me let go of all the doubts I was feeling and understand that love, support, and faith, surrounds me. Now, as I wrap up the first week of my return, I am processing how amazing my listeners are. I have the most loyal following and I thank you for reminding me of the journey we have gone through together.
Thank you for being there for me, as I sit here and thank god for my blessings, I want my supporters to know and understand how important they are as well. Couldn't do any of this without YOU!!!
Let's continue to smile together daily from 9AM-2PM PST on Jammin' 105.7!
